What is free
Creating a profile, chatting and adding photos are free, and there is no advertising anywhere. You do not need to enter payment details to say hello to someone.
With or without an account
A temporary profile only asks for a first name, an age, a gender and a position, so you can start in seconds. A free account adds up to six photos, details about the languages you speak and learn, filters on the map and translation of the messages you receive.
How it works
Open the map, zoom in on a country or a city, and look at who has placed a pin there. Open a profile, say hello and, if you get along, keep writing. Nothing to download and no long form to fill in.
Writing safely
Never share your address, your phone number or your passwords. You have to be 13 or older to use Penpalmap, and you can delete your profile and download your data whenever you want.
